Beer Brats

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced into rings
  • 6 bratwurst sausages
  • half a can of beer
  1. Heat half the oil in a large pan and brown the sausages. Remove them from the pan, add the rest of the olive oil, and cook the onion rings in the fat. Cook, stirring constantly, until soft and clear but not brown. Return the bratwurst to the pan and add the beer, cooking over a medium heat until the beer has cooked down to a thick sauce, about 10 to 15 minutes. Serve in a bun.
